AWARD DESCRIPTION
A broadcaster(s) that displays in the year of judging, outstanding performance or impact related to their particular craft group that elevates them above all others in the previous year. A broadcaster who embodies the attributes of the legendary Sir Paul Holmes - brave, courageous, clever, challenging and prepared to make an impact. They will also demonstrate a passion for radio and a desire to engage and entertain listeners on a daily basis.

JUDGING
The Radio Industry Awards Committee will agree an annual list of nominees. The nominees will be voted on by a panel of 50 industry peers representing all sections of the radio broadcasting community who are selected from amongst the annual awards judging pool.
