To recognise creative excellence in the writing and production of a single commercial/jingle or a campaign of two or more linked commercials or jingles devised as a strategic campaign.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
This award celebrates a great idea that has been beautifully executed and that uses the medium of radio in a unique, innovative and engaging manner.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

AUDIO

  • Only commercials/jingles that have been broadcast, with client approval and payment, in the twelve month period covered by these awards can be entered.
  • Must include the entire commercial/jingle as broadcast.

JUDGING CRITERIA

A - 25 POINTS | CREATIVE CONCEPT
Originality of idea, script writing, best use of radio.

B - 25 POINTS | PRODUCTION / EXECUTION
Acting/performance, skilful use of music and sound design.

BEST VOICE TALENT

AWARD OBJECTIVE
To recognise voice talent that has demonstrated excellence in voicing commercials and/or promotional trailers.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
This award is to celebrate outstanding voice talent that is able to improve both the creativity, audio impact and effectiveness of the commercials or promotional trailers they voice.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

AUDIO

  • A selection of audio to demonstrate versatility, originality, voice quality and acting ability (maximum of 5 minutes).
  • Only commercials and/or imaging that have been broadcast in the twelve month period covered by these awards can be entered.
JUDGING CRITERIA

A - 20 POINTS | QUALITY OF VOICE
Distinctive and appealing delivery.

B - 15 POINTS | ACTING ABILITY
Performance skills and ability to convey emotion/idea.

C - 15 POINTS | VERSATILITY
Ability to read in different accents/natural styles.

MOST EFFECTIVE COMMERCIAL - SINGLE OR CAMPAIGN

AWARD OBJECTIVE
To recognise a single commercial/jingle or two or more linked commercials/jingles devised as a strategic campaign which have achieved outstanding effectiveness for a single client.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
This award is only for commercial entries that have proven results for the client in terms of awareness, client enquiries or actual sales.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

AUDIO

  • Only commercials or jingles that have been broadcast, with client approval and payment, in the twelve month period covered by these awards can be entered.
  • Must include the entire commercial or jingle as broadcast.

WRITTEN DEMONSTRATION

  • Must include a letter or affidavit from the client outlining the objectives and outcomes of the commercial or jingle. Failure to provide this evidence will automatically disqualify the entry.
  • Evidence of results is mandatory. These must be directly attributable to the commercial or jingle and must relate to the objectives set. We are looking for hard business measures such as sales, leads, website visits, increased revenue or market share. Anecdotal evidence or indirectly attributable results will be marked down.
